The hall senser is2 wire and normally open until the magnet passes and it closes the circuit much like a set of points. My senser tested good. Since it shocked the hell out of me I  think it has a short between the primary and secondary coils mabey  a factory defect or maybe over heat I don't know. I have drilled ventilation holes in the box and will try using 2 batteries. I ordered spare for backup. If we were conceded about money we would not send it on these fun little toys.
