On July 16th I ordered an M12 and another M92 and they arrived yesterday July 27th.

I am uploading a video documenting the first 2 running sessions and some adjusting on the little M12.

Enjoy,

Gil

Thanks, Gil. I'm going to revisit my little M12, and try some of your fixes. Awesome job.

Reversed the 4 mounting bolts. Jin hid these 4 nice tall brass nuts up under the wood plinth.

I reversed them to give us a look at them and to hide the rounded Allen screw heads from visual range.

Another tip....

I removed the rear plate covering the crank case end and bored two .080" holes straight through from the other side.
This lined them up perfectly to allow oiling the piston skirt with a long needle oiler when it is at bottom or top dead center.

Hi Paul, All of these small model engines should be run on Coleman fuel mixed 15 to 1 with Marvel Mystery Oil. You can also use 100 LL which is 100 octane low lead aircraft fuel also mixed with Marvel Mystery Oil. There are other pure fuels that are good to use.

It is not OK to use automotive gasoline and any other products with ethanol and other poisonous additives designed to be pushed through a catalytic converter at 1400 degrees. While the engine could run, you make an awful mess and risk your health.
