Half Scale Domestic Stove Pipe Hit and Miss Engine
« on: April 09, 2022, 02:16:46 pm »
I haven't even been to any engine shows this season, and this model Domestic engine arrived at my doorstep this morning!  All it needs now is a proper base and it will be ready for the show season.

Bonjour Doug,
Beautiful engine indeed ! You are lucky to be able to purchase it, as there is no market at all in France, impossible to buy one, this is why I bought several Microcosm or Enjomor ones which have not this patina.
if you want to get rid of it... ;)

I hope to build one of these and then sell this one. Not really being a seasoned machinist, I find it much easier to build an engine from castings if I have a completed and working model for comparisons!

It does run magnificently Doug, I like the look, the copper water jacket looks just right 😊👍
