help with microcosm ignition
« on: February 11, 2023, 11:00:20 pm »
Hi all,

After hours of refining work on Microcosm R90s, I managed to run it smooth and good until it started playing up with the ignition and now it's dead.
I noticed it would take long to crank and after 20 seconds it would die, I chekced everything and at the end I realsied it is the ignition issue.

At first I could see sparks on the plug head and engine would crank and die soon. Now there is no spark at all with fresh batteries. There is no physical damage I can see anywhere.
Hall sensor seems intact , how likely is it to be the hall sensor ? Or is the CDI is gone ?

Anyone else had the same issue with Microcosm products ?

I found a product by RCEXL which is a 6v(min) 3W ME8 CDI, would 6v damage the hall sensor or produces too strong spark for the cylinder head ?
