Micro-Mini Tractor Pulling
« on: June 19, 2020, 01:04:28 pm »
Never seen this before... 5 lb toy tractor pulling 315 lb sled! Not sure what's the most entertaining part... the whine of the tractor, the shaking/struggle of the tractor trying to get that final inch or the focus on the operators face trying to get that final inch  :D

I have been to one of these events. the driver uses the U shaped plexiglass hand piece to guide the tractor, when the tractors are not in use they use plastic wrap for the rear wheels, they are very sticky and susceptible to dirt, the track is wiped down after every run (alcohol drips) and if the tractor breaks traction when in a pull all hell will break loose.....it will grab, fly in the air & do it all over again in seconds.

I had never seen a mini-tractor pull.

Not quite as loud as their full size brethren.

Thanks for sharing the video Nick.

They were doing that one year at an indoor show. The noise level was way beyond pleasant. I'll just say i am glad they didn't try that again indoors. I enjoyed watch 2 pulls then walked off and wished i had ear plugs.

Yikes  ...what an irritating noise ! ...why no tuned pipe ?  The "manual" steering looks kinda goofy ...
