Retrol horizontal mill engine fail

Against my better judgement i bought this from stirlingkit. It had a major fail the first day it arrived. Stirlingkit refuses to replace it and after sending them requested video, they agreed to let me return it for repairs, but then never sent me a call tag or even an address to return it to.
I did pay with Paypal, so may have to go through them for a refund. I would rather have a working engine, but they may force my hand if they do nothing to correct the issue.
The video shows what the issue is. I think maybe a broken ring. What do you guys think?

Hopefully sterling kit takes care of that in a proactive manner for what these engines cost we really shouldn't have to accept defects I also enjoy working on them but once again a brand new engine we should not have to accept any defects whatsoever.

Sorry that it went south on you Doug. I have also had this happen with a Polish engine (brand new) they cared so little that I ended up hating the engine, fixed it myself & moved it on without running it much after.

An update. Stirlingkit wants me to ship the engine back to them in china even though it was shipped to me from theUS, and at MY EXPENSE, using only usps with tracking. They also told me to lie on the customs form about it,s value or i will pay any customs taxes.
I will be contacting paypal for a refund and if i can figure who to report them to at US customs for their practice of lying on customs forms, i will do that as well.
They need to send me a replacement and a call tag if they want their engine back.
I will be posting all this on my youtube channel as well, to warn others.

Now stirlingkit has requested that i return the engine to China at my expense, even though it was shipped to me from the US.
They also instructed (in writing) to commit a federal criminal offense and lie about its value on the customs form.
I am including all this info in my request for paypal to refund my money. I will also be sending a copy of their email to the US CBP to let them know of stirlingkit,s fraudulent customs practices.
All they needed to do was replace my defective engine, but now it has come to this.

I don't think I've had one buyer from overseas that didnt want me to lowball the value of the item I was sending them to pay less VAT & save them some money, never bothered me to do that for them. a business is a surprise though.

Stirlingkit has now removed my posts from their facebook group.guess they dont want future buyers to beware of their warranty practices.

Sorry to hear this is turning into such a nightmare for you but I'm glad to see that sterling kit operates this way and other people will be informed before they make a choice to purchase from them.
