The long wait is over !

Below are a couple photos and a video.

At least some pictures.... Just tried to publish video and YouTube claims they are having trouble saving my video. They had no trouble saving my other 1,217 videos!

I'll post the video when they allow it.

Enjoy!

Gil

Bonjour Gil,

Thank you for your question. Not yet but hopefully, I received a notification of shipping yesterday, this is good news.

I wonder which number it will have  ;)

Besides this, as you have written my pseudo with an "@" in your post, I have received a mail, that is a cool functionality I didn't know yet.

All the wood is real on all his engines.

Bonjour Gil,

Just received my Z01, it is #3 (!) and unfortunately I haven't been able yet to start it after hours of manipulation of the throttle and needle valve  :(

I will keep you informed of my future progress...

How much do you open the needle valve ? I try about 1/4 to 1/2 turn with our without idle - full throttle.

Bonjour,

After long hours of fruitless testing of this superb Hit and Miss engine, I understood why my engine wouldn't start: Fuel wasn't reaching the microcarburetor.

The fuel pump seems weak on my model.

I never see any fuel returning to the transparent return hose.

By creating a slight overpressure in the fuel tank by blowing into it with a flexible hose at start-up, I solved the problem, and here's the result  ;D

For information, my model is #3
