Thanks Raphael. I also conclude that it is not a model of a paddlewheel steamer engine but was certainly inspired by one. I do have this model of a side lever paddlewheel steamer engine. It was modeled after the French Navy's fist steamship "Le Sphinx". Made by a modeler in Germany but missing parts of the valve gear which I need to make. Unfortunately no drawings.
