Here's something to relieve the work-at-home boredom: my example of the model Fanning hot air engine. It was built nearly 20 years ago by a friend who never got it running. I rebuilt it last year with a new displacer, burner, and firebox. I also painted it and added the plumbing, oilers, and nameplate. These were made from casting kits offered by the late Paul Jacobs in the early 2000s and apparently purchased by only a few model builders.

A whole lot of motion going on there .... Nice Pumping Engine!
Glad you got it running. Results were definitely worth the effort.
Runs great, Brent... and looks even better...!!!

What an excellent engine, I do like tjese fannings no matter which size.
And I even like the colour!
Great work on that Brent, she runs like a top & looks great doing it.
Very nice Brent.
Looks like a great opportunity to have the scale model and full size one running in tandem. 🤠
A great save on this one.
Congratulations on getting it running.
I finally got my internet sorted at the Ranch yesterday. So, I am busy catching up on my videos. I still don’t have enough bandwidth to upload any videos.
Great job Brendt. I should send you my 1" rider ericsson that i have never been able to figure out why it won't run. I think your knowledge of these goes far beyond mine!

Nice resurrection. Even with all the mass switching directions, it runs so smooth that you only see the slightest wobble of the 3-in-one bottle.
Thanks guys.
Doug,
I'll be happy to try and get your engine running--like your son helped me with the stirling cooler motor. I would say wait and bring it to Coolspring but who knows if that will happen this summer.
Brent
Thanks Brent. I may take you up on your offer. If coolspring doesnt happen, i,ll ship it to you
