An example of our Gil's packing
« on: March 14, 2019, 12:23:40 am »
Just going through a bunch of older photos for the new forum and came across these pics that show how Gil packs engines. Needless to say that the engines arrived from Connecticut to me in A1 condition!

What's this you say? Gil knows how to pack an engine? I once received a 20-G from Gil in a very tall box...

But why such a tall box?

Half-way down I found another layer...

That's right, I bought 2 engines  ;D

That's a whole lot of Jensen to fit in one box and survive shipping  ;) :D

all beauty's & I would love to have anyone of them, Yes, Gil has been around steam items long enough to know how to package them to survive a trip.
Jim ,I have it in mind to make some stacks like you have on your deluxe models, I'd like to get with you sometime to find out the dimension's if you would be so kind.

I think the black fire box 20 should return to its homeland.
