they're timing is suspect, right before Christmas. I have not sold a thing on Ebay for quite a while because of this tax.

I know Bruce! What can we say? They are experimenting and figured out that what they are planning to do would kill the e-commerce and negatively impact the middle class lives.

Personally I'm glad for the change since I've gone ahead and been slowly selling train and steam items. Got to admit I wasn't looking forward to the tax consequences.

Thanks for the heads up. So we have a one year reprieve to dump stuff on Ebay.

Read the linked article!

The so-called reprieve was for income for THIS year (2022) which is just about over.  The law hasn't changed and somehow they just couldn't find the time to increase the $600 threshold so next year you will pay!

Hi Larry, I'm not certain there is a 1 year reprieve here. 
Could it be just a reprieve for the last week of this year?

  What if the sale is in December but pay pal does
not give you the money until January?  Hmmmm.

  I know we can sell on this site but can we do some
sort of an auction?  Just thinking out loud.
