Finalized touches with my favorite color on the plant… deep naval blue.

To me, looks best.

Here’s some photos and a movie clip:

Bonjour,

Great singing steam plant indeed ! And useful in case of power outage  ;D

Sorry if I already asked this question, how do you lubricate the cylinder ? I don't see any oil lubricator and even if wet steam is lubricant, it is worth injecting a little oil into the cylinder, isn't it ?

I put a few drops on the slide valve every 5 minutes during its run which puts oil into cylinder.

Nice color!  What brand is it?  Is it a stock color or did you mix your own?

It’s a mixture of different manufacturers, but the entire thing is custom built.

The engine is a PM research #3.  The boiler is by Jensen steam engines. Both are still around.

The color is a dark blue enamel paint.
