You should have seen CiCi's eyes light up when Charlie gave her a Fleischmann steam engine.
It needs a little TLC and CiCi and I have begun the work.


First order of business was a whistle repair. There was no handle to turn the valve so I put a marker dimple on the valve stem so I could make a tiny hole in it.


Needless to say CiCi loves Charlie and loves her steam engine.

Great work CiCi, but it looks like a lot of patience from Gil will be required in this cleanup   

She's well on her way to being a first class restorer like her Grandfather - great work CiCi! And a very nice gesture of friendship Charlie.
