There's been some rumblings that people have lost their freedoms here in Australia, but for the most people are ok with it because its helped keep our death toll and infections really low.
There's always a few aholes though, very confronting to read that a minority of the younger think its a baby boomer disease only. Even going so far as to call it the "Boomer Remover" along with comments like
"the baby boomers have locked up all the real estate and houses and it will be good for them to be thinned out to allow us into the market". Thankfully, those with such thoughts seem to be in the majority and they mustn't have parents, uncles, aunts or grandparents that they cherish.
Our Prime Minister is talking of lowering restrictions in four weeks, with the knowledge that if infections rise quickly, we will go back to these same restrictions. He's preparing us for the long haul until a vaccine is made. There will be no herd immunity for Australia, social distancing will be the new norm for a long long time.
Stay safe everyone, seeing the worldwide numbers each morning, the deaths and infections are just staggering.
