Around 20 years ago, Jenny and I spent ages stripping back paint from a lot of furniture pieces and staining and refinishing them.

Forward 20 years and Jenny and I are now sanding back these same pieces of furniture to get a nice keyed finish for the four coats of sealer, primer, undercoat and top colour.

I've learned to cook some very good spicey vegetable dishes.

I even fold and put away my clothes now instead of just throwing them on the floor.

I need to get some new music, we've listened to everything a LOT now.

The dogs always look buffed and polished with the twice weekly baths....(they run when they know what's about to happen).

The SUV looks great polished and the tyres blackened and wheels shined.
