In some ways I'm a little more fortunate than others, and in some ways, less. Being single with no kids leaves a person plenty of opportunities to do what you want, when you want to. Like hunting and fishing. Being locked up alone sucks. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, playing on the floor with em. Taking them out by the flowers and pointing thing out like insects and the patterns in flowers and nature. I love to see the long stare of awe and wonder in their eye's as their imagination is opened for the first time,,,, and for a lifetime. I always looked forward to the Big 3 Holidays, Thanksgiving,Christmas, and Easter. The family gets together for fun and games, good food, and reflecting. Thanksgiving, no problems, Christmas had a hiccup. The niece who's house we gather at was surprised by her in-laws a month before, that they're all going to Florida for Christmas. The rest of us decided to wait and due to scheduling problems, have it on the 11th of Jan. and that fell through do to the flue. Well there's always Easter. We can't even go to church.
We all keep in touch, we're all healthy so far. I worry the most about my niece in Wyandotte Michigan, Detroit area. She's a healthcare worker who goes to peoples houses to check on them. Some are known to have been exposed, some not. She is one of the workers you here about who has to use supplies over and over and over because of the shortages. Her husband is in the physical therapy and sports medicine business. Well with no sports, his work load is way down so he stays home more with their kids. Three girls, 6, 4, and 2. I worry the most for those five. They're in Michigan's hot spot.
I'm well, and my yard is looking good since I raked and dethatched. I just hope the neighbors dogs don't like it, they're a strange bunch.
