As I was reading your story Jim , I was thinking about the fires, then floods , and now the deadly virus that has us all on edge to one degree or another,  almost reads of biblical plagues doesn't it 😢

Just waiting for the locusts Bruce !

They are waiting for their turn after the army worms Jim.....

Like to send a big THANKS to all the front line workers out there sacrificing there health to keep the rest of us safe. To all the Doctors,Nurses and all those in the health care industry on the front lines risking it all sometimes with there own life’s. To all the Truck Drivers delivering food & goods necessary to keep us alive. The Pharmacist, Grocers,Baggers,Police,Fire and First Responders and my pizza delivery guy. My daughter & sister-in-law are both nurses and I can’t explain how afraid I am for them other than it leaves a pit in my stomach. For this I & THE NATION THANK YOU ALL!!!

Bonjour,
I work as IT project manager in a public administration which has been clever enough to imagine that the workspace could be mobile, so we started last year to give a laptop to all the agents. Morality; we are able to telecommute and ensure 100% of our activities while being confined to the home.

It is very weird to work and live in the same place, so, despite the fact I am confined, I manage tp find some room and some time to escape in my passion:

They are a yellow striped worm that later turns into a moth. A lake that I visit every year gets them and they travel around the lake to a different section each year and make it full circle every 6-7 years. It's easy to spot where they currently are because they strip all the leaves off the trees. One year they were so bad you could't even see the car tires through them and it looked like the wheels were moving on parked cars. Thankfully they don't carry the coronavirus ;) at least not that I know of! :D

looks like what we called Catawba Worm around here, great for fishing & my Grandma used to have a tree that leaned out over the pond & it was great fishing in the spot cause all the fish knew that as well  ;)

Yeah we have something similar but  with tufts of hair on them called "Tent worms".  They are every year and usually by poplars.
They build nests in the crotches of young trees and bushes.

Those worms look like Gypsy moth caterpillars. There was a huge outbreak in CT when I was a kid back around 1980. They were absolutely everywhere. You'd hear them popping as cars drove down the street.. Not a pleasant time.
