Update:

Restored the engine part as well. Even though it was in working order I wanted to match the high temp paint to the firebox.  Ripped the engine assembly apart, a very tedious and careful job on these older engines.  Repainted over the nasty glossy old 100 year old paint.  Looks mighty fine. 

Issue I had was clearances with the new paint layer and the bushings between the fly wheel and stanchions on the crank shaft. Had to sand those down to fit and run smooth.
