I bid on this PM Research boiler on eBay and won it. It looks very well made. I will hydro it tomorrow.

I think 63 watched it, but very few bid on it. Same with the Worthington steam pump that I won.

I don’t know that I have seen many of them sell over the years and really didn’t know what to bid… I remember I was at the pumpkin patch with the kids looking up on my phone what they cost new in the final minutes of the auction  :D

  I was watching that one too, they are very nice boilers with a design that looks more authentic than most model boilers. I have one of the vertical PMR boilers, smaller.

I never thought of doing that. I am ready for silver soldering but set it aside to complete some other projects, like my Robinson hot air engine and my ME beam engine.

Not yet, as i am working on other projects that I want to get done before the cold weather is here. I still have to hydro the boiler. I will post pics of doing the hydro.  Brad
