Early Style Jensen 65 Fuel Tray
« on: December 15, 2019, 01:23:38 pm »
I have finally come across a second example on ebay, confirming that mine is genuine... There may be others out there that the owners simply haven't noticed, given how similar it is the normal variation.

The burner we all know on the left and the early flat handle on the right

We know that the 75 was sold with a tube sight glass before the port-hole, but this is the earliest variation of the 65 that I have come across... I have had mine for over 5 years, and have just now spotted a second burner like it...

Example currently on ebay. Any others out there??

Nick,
I have a 60 with the same flat handle burner tray.

I would love to see that if you have a chance. They must not have been used for long... I assume it goes with this style 60? Mine came in great condition, but no fuel tray...

I have four of those Wilesco base 60 models, but only one came with the original flat handle burner tray. I’ll post some photos when I get home. At the movies sitting through the previews now. Lol

I’ve got two of them, one with throttle, one without. Don’t forget to shut your phone off when the movie starts :D

Thanks Mike! Great picture of the 4  8)

Interesting that the burner is shorter too. As you say, all these little changes make these engines fun to collect. Never know what you're going to run across!
