This guy is building an Empire B-38 from castings.

Stuart sent me the link and I watched the 4 videos in the series he has published so far.

Charlie, thanks for sharing. Interesting to watch the casting part, but the machining was not very precise. Not sure why he had to go through all this process to replicate a moderately priced available engine?

Metal casting...something I will have to learn but the entry level costs for casting medium is a bit high. Everything else can be banged together and i even saw a small smelter forge the other day in my dads storage shed.
I'll have to have a sit and watch this. It looks interesting. Thanks for the link!
