Charile posted on my YouTube video and said that it had never been fired and I can believe that. Inside the smoke stack you could see the brass base around the screw and there wasn't any sign of sediment anywhere. When I drain the remaining water, it was clean as I put it in. I even drained it the water on a paper towel - the towel caught nothing.
I kind of believe this is a earlier production because the No 62's sight glass fitting's nickel is really nice. It seems as Empire went on, the nickel on these parts was very thin. It didn't really matter how well the engine was cared for, the nickel more or less just disappeared with normal age.
I wished it was easy to pull off the table off the saw, I would seriously think of having it re-plated.
