« on: May 04, 2019, 07:54:18 pm »
I have quite a few flame licker engines.  I know others collect them. as well.  Please add any photos of any you might have that are different than these!

Wow Doug ... very impressive!

I can't add anything to that great display, but I do have one of those already shown, the Solar III, in two versions.

Geez Doug, wonderful bunch of flame lickers...but when my eyes landed on the last one ...it was a feast of desire.

Amazing collection Doug, well done and thanks for sharing !

Guess there´s several in that category, but if the upright Rebi "bellows" engine is functional, you certainly have a rarity in that alone.

As i don´t collect flame lickers per se, i only have the Solar 3 already shown...and the much smaller Solar Engines "Mini Vac" flame eater.

The Rebi vertical does run and included with the purchase of this engine was a mold for making a new replacement bellows. I have used the mold once to make a bellows for a friend and am told it worked well!

A real boon getting that mold with your engine, as that going south usually is what "kills" them...

Runs great Doug, thanks for sharing !

I feel for you!. The only flamelicker i built is one i cannot get to run. I have 3 others that i have never been able to get working. I quit buying flamelickers on ebay unless the seller provides a video of it running! There is a rare Caloric flamelicker on ebay currently, but i am not willing to spend good money on another "untested" flamelicker! Untested on ebay usually means they tried to run it and it doesn't run.

Did you build that? If so, and it runs, I'm envious.
