Today, at my Every Sunday morning Flea Market I found this Jensen 70 with box and instruction sheet, funnel, etc. It looks as if it has only ever been steamed one time, and the newspapers in the botoom of the bottom of the box are from December of 1992, so it has been packed up at least that long.
I do not know what to expect as far as pricing, or value or worth, etc. but I gave the guy $100.00 for this. What is a reasonable price for this engine in this condition? Did I over pay, under pay or was this an average price for a Jensen 70?

That engine in that condition, you most certainly did NOT overpay!
Check the newsprint in the bottom of the box and see if it is from Jeanette PA, as it just may be original packing material from Jensen. I once got an unfired Jensen 85G that had such newsprint packing, which I think makes it a bit special.
Pittsburg newsprint is also original for many Jensens and often the only way to have a decent date approximation.
Nice find in great shape!

you got a bargain (especially if no tax's & shipping) looks hardly used. you can always tell the level of use by how "bruised" the firebox looks/is.
Nice find 👍 I would have given $100 for it too
The Newspaper that was in the box is from St. Cloud, MN. so definitely not original shipping material.
Thanks for the response and validation that this was a good deal.
