Weeden 34 - At last, first successful steamup of a classic

  Well, here is the first steamup of my Weeden 34.
I've added a link to the surprisingly successful
compressed air run and then to the first steamup.
It's a very impressive runner - IMHO!

  Frank....I can just see the S/V in your photo.
How does it work?  What fits into the space between
the walls of the S/V body and the movable middle part? 
A custom shaped washer of some sort?  I just cobbled a
solution together that did not involve any mods.  If you
don't have any photos of one in pieces maybe you could
draw a diagram.

And, if you have a troublesome early 34 on your hands...

 Latest...I decided to do a steamup yesterday afternoon and
I tried it on air first.  NO GO!  The S/V was now leaking.
After the S/V gaskets wouldn't seal I fixed that but it still
would not run on air.  I was so P#$$ed.  Anyhow, I decided to
steam it up and it worked. Go figure.  I will never remove the
S/V again.

  Check out the steam exhaust.  Very nice sound and a pretty
puff-puff cloud of exhaust steam.
