Hero’s ancient steam turbine by Microcosm

My daughter got this little one for my birthday. I tried it out today. I filled up the alcohol tank a bit over full I think. When I lightened it up the alcohol spilled over and started a nice fire on the granite countertop.  This really speeded up steam production until the safety plunger popped out and everything cluttered over the counter. The fire was easily extinguished and everything cleaned up. The parts were quite hot at first. What a spectacle and quite fun. Video on YouTube. adQ6Am-R8Lw

If I had the storage space... And the money... I'd have a few more engines.
