A little beauty. At the same time a rarity.

Congratulations on your purchase.

You don't often get the opportunity to make a purchase like this.
Cheers

I admire your commitment. I just briefly thought of starting a collection for you among the forum members. I am already interested in you staying with us.😂😂

A wonderful Carette engine at a very fair price.

It is similar to one in my collection.

Wow - very nice and rare. The Carette fly wheels are so nice.
Not too expensive for this beauty and a very good state - only
a little miss of sheet metal on the rear. I wood leave it with
the patina. Congrats, Arnold :D
Age? maybe good before 1900

Walter, I responded to your post in the "other" forum--it's model no. 174 from the late 1890s.

Thanks to all replies and yes Brent, I did see your reply on that forum; thank you.
And I think that I know where you are coming from @Nick , fortunately my finger snapper just bought some artwork for the lounge so I had some bargaining power up my sleeve and my birthday just passed.
