Jean Comby two-cylinder question
« on: April 09, 2019, 01:27:30 pm »
I've purchased a Jean Comby 2-cylinder oscillating engine.
Unfortunately, the bearing tube through which the crank runs
is loose - I can't even figure out how it was fixed in-place.
I made a temp wooden support and was able to run it a bit
on compressed air, but, there has to be a better way.  Maybe
it was somehow a press-friction fit.  I've seen one on youtube
that has a u-shaped support, and others with no support, but
there is no indication mine had any such support.  If I have to
I will make a support but I'd like some answers.

I hope the pix help - if you have one with a support other than
the u-shaped bracket please send me a photo.

Help me out,
Wayne
