Hi Bruce, I clicked on the pictures and they took me to the same small ones in Photobucket, so I think they were uploaded that small and will not be able to be made any larger...

As for being a #55G Deluxe, it sure looks authentic from here... base size and layout matches mine:

Mine however, has a special, green ID tag made for "Ametek Aerospace"

There are a few other members here with Deluxe models in both #20 and #55

This is the information I was given:

Quote
John Loughner developed and made these for John Foskett. While officially unauthorized by Tom Jensen Jr., They were offered only through Jensen via John Foskett, the then sales manager/general manager of Jensen Steam engines. Also featured on these engines is a ball-bearing Jensen 15 generator/lamp post.

(but the one you posted does not look to have a ball-bearing 15...)

The smoke stacks look correct as well as the layout.
Would love to see better photos but it looks authentic.

Here posting a couple of photos of the Jensen 55 G in question, thanks to SPS for getting this started!

I had only seen photos and videos of two other examples of this engine, including of course Nick's, with the green presentation plate, and its most interesting serial number. Compared with this one, does it imply that his is #19 (as I recall) from that year alone, or #19 since 1995?? I am guessing the latter, but guessing is all I really have to go on.

I can identify a few clear differences between mine and the others. First of course, this one has both a generator (non BB) and a lineshaft (and as far as I know, not an entirely standard production lineshaft?). Second, it has an additional black drip tray below the reversing gear behind the cylinders - the others have only a single drip tray at the base of the chuff-stacks. Third, the exhaust tubing from the engine to the stacks on this one is thick black rubber (?), on the others it is thinner blue silicone.

Would appreciate any further information or comments.......
