CONGRATULATIONS to NICK for Winning Engine of the MONTH EOTM !!!

Nick entered a wonderful miniature version of a vertical Stuart.
It is just 1.9 inches tall and runs in both directions.

George Britnell is the highly skilled builder that carved all the precision parts from solid and fit them together.
Needless to say there are no castings for these and it takes a very high level of skill to accomplish this.

Congrats, Nick...!!!!

Nick and his engine won this month because he took the time to photograph and send it in.

For the July contest, please send in a picture of a Stirling Cycle or Hot Air engine, Flame Licker, etc.

Well done Nick and George.
As some one who has made smaller engines i can fully appreciate the skill required for such an engine .
Way above what i feel i can do .

Thanks again all! I was playing with this engine on air tonight down in the basement and was going to post a video but blew a fuse... will have to wait for the hardware store to open up tomorrow as it was my last one that size. Had the dehumidifier, freezer and abunch of overhead lights on when the air compressor kicked on, usually shut the dehumidifier off when playing down there... oops  :D

The engine is still "new" and was my first time running on air. I cannot believe how fast it runs at 3 psi  8) and was able to get it all the way down to 1/2 to 3/4 psi, runs fast on my own breath too  8)  Thanks Again George!!
