My 15G generator would barely light the bulb when I first got it . I thought that was just the nature of the beast , and lived with it . In the end it turned out to be a bad ground , which, after tightening , worked correctly . I also replaced the large drive pully with a smaller 1/2" one, and now it will really light up the bulb , with fewer RPM's .
