JENSEN MODEL # 10 Made 1951
« on: August 07, 2020, 02:11:51 am »
I bought this Jensen 10 a couple of months ago and was not happy with the
way it ran. The seller could have a little fairer in is description and I did not
know what to do. After with all of the problems that were happening in this
country at this time I did nothing. I have learn to be more watchful in buying
because I do this hobby for fun and not money. I fixed up this Jensen and
now you can see it runs pretty good. Hope you enjoy the video.

Hi Carl , I believe you have a 1951 "omega" #10, the only year they made those, it looks & runs real fine, I noticed quite a bit of bubbling around the steam chest & cylinder solder line, don't be surprised if the cylinder comes loose....but this can be fixed fairly easily.

Thanks Bruce for your comment since taking the video I have used some CA glue that Roger used
on his great website. The CA glue fixed the problem very easily and fixed the leak.

Looks like a nice enough version of that classic. Now because you had to do some work on it, you've made it your very own, and it will now always be special to you because of that.

Wish I had an "Omega", but so far they have always eluded me. Been first loser on one a couple of times, but never a winner ...... yet!

Daniel there was a nice omega #10 on ebay for just a short while that also had a complete orphan #55 engine with it for $799 , it lasted only a few hours.

Hi Carl, you have gotten your 1951 #10 looking and running great. Sounds good, too!
It is a real nice addition to your collection. Very well done!
