First run on steam.  I need to do some touch up on the paint.

I learned not to pick up the freshly painted engine with hands covered with solvent.  I just came across a frame and small Bing boiler.  I’m currently mocking up a body.  This one will use slide valves and linkage similar to a stationary engine I built earlier.  This will take a couple weeks to complete.  I ordered some 2-rail track.  The completed engine rubbed the center track.  Also, the three rail is slightly wider.

Well done, you've really brought that back from the brink of the scrapper.

Well done!

Would this from the 1909 catalogue be the one, being just over 7½" (19.5 cm) long?

The tin work is underway for the new engine.  I’m making adjustments to the design as I go.

Loco tin work update.  Time to do some drive train work.  It will have dual action cylinders with eccentric arms for the valve train.
