When we get settled in a bit how about we design a forum logo. We could then get badges or T shirts made to wear at shows.

Yes, I would like a logo to make business cards and advertise, but the question is, what do we put on it? So many choices in the hobby...

You read my mind...!

I have already been giving this some thought and it is on my to do list.

I had already planned to set up the forum store to offer hats, shirts and things. I haven't set it up yet but in due time we'll have it.
I already have the ability to do this and what appears to be a top shelf package from our host which includes a store among other things.

We've got to have a logo. Are you going to design one Gil? or perhaps someone on the forum could. I hope I'm not being too forward.

Perhaps, since the forum was set up by an American, and Cedge from Jenson was also instrumental in testing the forum and making a stable platform. Could i suggest that we have a Jenson 50 as the logo image? Also I happen to remember a video which included Jed seeing the Jenson 50 in steam connected to an Ozsteamdemon chuff pot. I think this could be one good possibility? A Jenson 50, with one of Geoff's chuff pots....other engines accessories could also form the logo. But to me they are two iconic items within our hobby.

I do like the idea, but I think a more generic design would be better, not an actual specified make or engine. And it would be nice to include gas and hot air... anyone on here a graphic designer or artist?

Maybe something simple including a flywheel and a piston/cylinder...

Nick I think Danny is going to have a go at designing a banner/logo for the forum.

A logo is a great idea.👍 would be great to have some t-shirts, or caps for sale. All the proceeds could help with the upkeep of the website.😊

My two cents on the matter; is to think of a logo which is is intuitive and simple. A logo with elements which everybody can recognize and stand behind.

A complete simple stationary engine, or elements from one; like a flywheel, watt-regulator, cylinderhead & piston-bars, etc.

I attach a sketch; found on internet just as a illustration.
