So totally a bitsa. I was just browsing and I made an offer without looking/thinking too much. I was supposed to be watching the kiddo. Serves me right!
I wouldn't have bought after closer inspection. Oh well...
Style wise, the base is too big imho. But that's because I'm out of shelf space!
Someone spent a lot of time making it... even looks to be homemade wooden red/gray engine bases. I don't think the seller was trying to rip you off, but to be honest you might be better off trying to cancel the purchase as it's not really a Wilesco D32...
Chris, I'd be cancelling buying that.
Am I right that its a D24 coupled with a mirrored D24 engine? Not worth the price unfortunately...
Here you can see the homemade cylinder ends for the mirrored engine

That's exactly what it is IMO, its not a D32's control panel.
The 'heater' looks dangerous, honestly its an engine that is worse than a bitza its got so many errors and problems ...... sorry Chris, but I'd reneg on paying for this. Its NOT a D32 as advertised.
I wrote the seller an email. I am digging around to see what I can do...
What's the boiler from?
On closer zoom, the pictures look worse. I should only buy things with my iPad versus my small phone...

I've gotten myself into the same problems with small/blurry pictures and cheap BIN's. Sometimes it pays off, other times it's a loss...
I think you have a fighting chance being the title says D-32 and the engine is not...
The D24 is a great engine and wish I wouldn't have sold mine after buying a D32, but they can be found for $150... So you can find 2 complete D24's for the price of this fake "D32"...
The list of disclaimers is long on his ad, so probably not likely to get money back. I have my eBay set up that it's a one click payment. So just negative feedback is my only recourse and a quick relist on eBay as it's best to not be reminded of such bad mistakes.
Chris, isn't there a way that you can withdraw from the sale with eBay even though you've paid?
Jim, I messaged the seller. I'll look into it more. Fingers crossed.
