• I did not want to buy a steam engine today 
  but can you say no to this little Maerklin convertible.
  An older lady brought it to me and asked $ 50   
  I was speechless for a moment and gave her 100 - that's
  probably little more serious? Anyway after a little cleanup
  she runs like new and walks over may work table.

  Until today, no one has ever come to me in my town offering to sell me a steam engine.
  
  When I was shipping out a package today at the Pack and Ship shop that I go to, the clerk, who is an acquaintance, said he heard that I collected Steam Engines.  He said he had a Garden Railway years ago and that he has a Live Steam Gauge 1 Mikado Locomotive New in the Box that he bought in the 1980s. • The Märklin convertible, my favorite toy steamer! 😍 I think I have 7 of them in different variations  This way I can run them in each position without having to go through the work of transforming them
