Maerklin Workhorse 402 is running the Carousel 16121
« on: November 15, 2021, 10:42:56 am »
Today I put the Märklin engine into operation. I've wanted to run the carousel with it for a long time. However, I still had to make a drive wheel so that a belt could be attached. The gear ratio of the machine is a little too slow and it should run faster - but - people shouldn't fly out of their seats - haha
Enjoy, Arnold ;D

Hello Arnold,
I think the speed is just right. The Märklin and the carousel are really super. A very nice combination that you present to us here. Thank you for it.
Cheers
Jürgen

The larger 402 makes the carousel look smaller than it is  :)

Very nice. Speed looks fine to me.

Very nice combo!

Some years ago I saw a modern carousel on a fair which showed an all-plastic vertical steam engine in garish colors in its decoration backdrop...
What a a poor sight...
