the engine is mentioned in a publication from "Battenberg"
translated:

horizontal steam engine with double cylinder, Märklin, around 1920/25. two fixed cylinders, boiler feed pump, dynamo, flame tube boiler, hand-painted. without catalogue proof, no number

Very few are none - at least a Gentleman from Germany has the same.The boiler has also very unique construction with 3 tubes.The photo below shows the boiler with its cover (not mine)
