Another runner - Fleischman 120-2 (?)
« on: September 29, 2025, 05:10:56 pm »
I bought this engine with others in a collection.

Here is a quick video of the first steamup

I added a photo of the collection.  I hope it shows.

Ah ha Wayne, so you got that ready-made collection did you! I had it bookmarked and was tempted, but in the end, Local pickup only and other expenses kept me out of the race! Looks like you made an acceptable offer that got it to you for something less than the listed price, which was already pretty good for that haul in my opinion.

I was actually mostly interested in the Langes workshop board with what appears to be a mating electric drive motor. I suspect that alone might well be worth the price of admission. Several nice engines in there as well it seems. I especially like the photo showing both the Langes tools and the Jensen larger version of some of those same tools.

NICE!!!

The set of Langes tools is cool and the motor works well.  Unfortunately,
the grinder top is broken at the top of the support.  I'd like to get it
up and running for a video at least once.  I'm sure it would look wild!

Where can I buy that stretchy green plastic cord that you can cut
to length and weld the ends together?  Black would look nicer.

Or, I could buy spring belts from PM.

I'll be putting up some more videos as I fix-up, clean-up, and steam-up
the lot.  The three home-builds....I have hopes for one.

Gotta sell something someday.  Anyone want to buy a bridge?
