With the cold winter weather solidly entrenched (15 degrees F this morning) and Christmas Rapidly approaching,
Mrs RedRyder wanted this engine off of the fireplace hearth. Simone was right. It did not belong there any longer
blocking access to our fireplace. It is a beastly heavy piece of hardware and that was the closest easy parking spot
when I rearranged our living room displays to accommodate the glass display case I recently brought home.
So I stuck it on an appliance moving dolly and rolled it down the hall to the Office of Steam.
I parked it where the Gearless Olds (now in the glass display case) once resided. It just makes it under
and in between the walls of this table at the end of my desk. It clears on both ends and on top by just 1/2 inch.
It is the perfect spot!
Below is a short video and a picture.
Enjoy!

Thanks, Nick!
Here is a short video of it at George King's steam engine show in October 2013.
It is running on live steam at 50 PSI and throttle open with the governor doing a great job of regulating.

Quite a beast of an engine. Any bigger and it would have to go on the trailer!

Always liked the A J Weed Horizontal engines and i'm pleased to have the PMR copy in my collection.
I still need to get a boiler to power it.

Thank you! The PMR copy is a great example and very difficult to distinguish from the original.

Quite right, Doug. It may travel to a show one day on the trailer.
