Interesting, so a 30s Model #10?

Not so sure of my (lack) of Skills on fabricating a new firebox.  Would the cord come out from the back, there is a hole on the main box and the smoke box (missing the smoke stack too).  If so, I guess the previous owner cut out the front or at least the top hole and put a shelf inside?  Perhaps just making a cover for that top hole would be okay.  But what is the bottom hole for?

The Jensen lady did suggest they would put a new one that would be brick / brown and that I could pain it black.  I also have the problem of no glass tube and the missing screw (which was told would have a hole in the screw?).

Now I am not so sure I want to send it in at $50 hour if there is a possibility of getting mostly original.

i am moving on to "Wanted" section, found that section a bit ago for finding parts.  Now looking at these photos I now think I see more what the previous owner did to the fire box - which was a real hack job on it.

Looks like an interesting project with a nice early model 10, 1930s. The holes on both the firebox and the smokestack box are for the electrical cord. As far as I know the replacements sold by Jensen should fit, but I have no direct experience with that.
