Found an old sales flyer that showed a Jensen model 20R. So I got to looking around for one and couldn't find one for sale. Talked to Doreta at Jensen to see if they would build one. No they wouldn't. So I ordered a new 20. Got it in unboxed it and took it apart. Made new board to dimension that was on flyer and built my own 20R.
Even restamped tag to say 20R
Little better picture of tag
Hi Randy, very very nice!
I re-posted your images large for you so they have more impact. Hope you don't mind.
Congratulations on your new Jensen

Note how Jensen stamped the tag

By the way, just noticed you added straight red handles, much nicer than the really fat ones they currently use...
And Beautiful finish on that base
It looks amazing, well done Randy !
Good work Randy, that is a very nice conversion. A real retro #20R
Thanks Jim for resizing pictures. I dont like the new (I call them clown dumb bell handles). So I figured I'm modifying it any way just make it the way I like it. Glad yall like it. Thanks
Nice build, Randy. Looks great!

Any chance of some video?
Would be glad to. But cant figure out how to add video? Like I've said before better with old engines than modern technology.
Did you make the handles or are they New Old Stock?
I made them from 1/4" dowel rod.
