I found out today that the boiler works great, but is real dirty inside. The water and steam coming out are black. Any ideas on how to clean the inside of a boiler? It is so heavy, I think it is made of cast iron. Know where I can get a steam whistle to go atop of the boiler where it is broken?
I am also wonder why the 2 bigger diameter lines coming out of the steam chest goes up into the air. Shouldn't be pointed down so it can drain?
The hand water pump isn't working, so I have new check valves coming and hopefully that will fix that problem.
