old Rehse/Bischoff steam plant restored

Here I have some pictures of my Rehse/Bischoff plant. It was in
a terrible condition and I was lucky to find the perfect motor
from a german collector. My goal was to bring it back to original
look and perfect function. The engage mechanism for the high transmission
with the weight belt tensioner is a very cool extra. The boiler is made
from steel and can take up to 3,5 litre.

So many truly amazing machines, such as this beauty, have been coming out of the woodwork here lately!

were they already there ?

These handrails are home made on the lathe. The platform had a lot of holes and I was thinking
how to cover these. I decided to make handrails - material is 2, 6 and 10 mm stock bar.
All is screwed from underneath with M 3 screws.The only problem was that I like do make
prototypes - that means 1 piece not 7 - that is series work!!! thats what I hate...
