Plank Cosmos
« on: September 14, 2021, 02:20:30 pm »
The cosmos is now functional again - only a task remains to be done -
a new sight glass. The burner has a new mushroom, the safety valve has one
new weight (from a muzzle-loading lead bullet) the handles are off
African black wood, the drain cock is repaired - I had to do a steam test today ...
Arnold;  ;D  ;D  ;D

tomorrow I try to not burn my fingers when making the new glas!

Very well done, Arnold.
By the way, I am convinced that there are also thick leather gloves on the Swiss side of Lake Constance.
Cheers
Jürgen

Runs nice. Thanks for the video. The Schoenner I'm working on whistle valve was so tight I had to heat it to get it to move.

Cheers Bob, I collect mostly German steam stationary engines.
