Not quite as maddening as it seems but more delightful....   sharing more with you.    An empire water pump that needs a paint job, however I'd almost rather leave it as is.. shows it's history.    The transmission is borrowed from TXLABMAN, but it looks like it's an empire Transmission.. not sure.    I don't remember if he mentioned this was an SPS build or what.

Yes, that is a Empire transmission :-) Looks to have been nicely restored too!

While the outer band you have installed on the two small pulleys clearly works but you are suppose to put it on the center ones.  Though as I typed that, I suppose you did that because you can't take apart the rubber band to install it on the center pulleys!

I'm very fond of my three Empire water pumps.
Those transmissions go for big $$$ when they come up on eBay, they were what inspired me and I copied when I made my DIY transmissions.
