Salesman Sample Steam Engine

Just found this in my Uncles Barn. I am trying to identity the manufacturer. Any thoughts my new friends. Charlie Beckham

Does not look like the work of a known manufacturer.

I looks like a nicely made home shop built piece that was never finished as I see no eccentric or eccentric rod and no inlet or exhaust unless they are hidden underneath which would not make any sense.

Perhaps you could post a picture of the bottom of it.
