Steam injector pumps for our small steam engines

Do they function at 12 psi? Just wondering about the preponderance of simplex...

PS Thank you Nick, the Steam School is awesome!!!!!!!

I don't think they would work at 12PSI. I know you can get small size ones to work with scale steam but they still require the higher pressure to function. I've played around with injectors on full size engines and they can be temperamental sometimes, although it is satisfying once you get them to 'sing' on the first attempt.  :)

I don't think they would work at that low of pressure either, but sure would be neat if they did.

Luckily the injector on the Nichols and Shepard I was running worked very well.

Glad you and your brother made it to steam school, what a great time!
