Alan, which HOG did you get? Your link takes one to a photo of 4 or 5 different versions. I have one of them myself and it is a fine runner.

I've always admired the HOG Stirling engines, i do like the Magnus with the addition of the speed regulator which is much like some of the Wiggers Stirlings.
Glad you are still able to buy them new and the classic HOG gold model isn't bad value.

Thanks to your links...I see that I own an "old silver" version of the HOG...it has been a reliable runner every time I fire it up. They make a good line of Stirlings.
