Update:

New wood base board which has beautiful wood grain and installed handles making easier to carry around or tilt to empty the boiler with ease. Plant is heavy so it helps!

Very nice, indeed!
This is my first visit to this thread. I just purchased a finished Stuart 10V and I am looking for ideas on how to set it up to run.
Where do you buy the pipe and fittings (elbows, unions and such)?

Thanks,
Tim

Well there are a few places you could go.

Blackgates engineering or
PM research of USA.

I would check out Keith Appleton on YouTube!    That’s what I had to do to figure a lot of this stuff out.

UPDATE:

Added a generator & lamp post from RETROL, which holds out great & works wonderfully!

May use some brass pipework to hide the electrical wires.  All in all, performs like a charm.

I haven’t posted in a while, figured I’d chime in.

Thanks for the update, Travis.

Your steam plant runs great, looks quite well organized, and complete.

Tim....re buying bits-n-pieces for your engine.
The first thing you need to do is determine what
kind of threads your engine needs.  Metric, British,
U.S.,...  Then look for a supplier that sells items
with the same threads as your engine.

Good Luck,
Wayne

Jeez you've done a good job putting all that together.
If anything else takes your fancy to put in there, you're going to need one of these Travis!
Well done.

What is it?

Its a shoehorn.

An old saying is that "You're going to need a shoehorn to fit anything else in there".
